Line of Events
Set 183 years before the events of the original film trilogy, The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim tells the story of the fate of the house of Helm Hammerhand, the legendary King of Rohan. A sudden attack by Wulf, a cunning and ruthless Dunlending lord bent on avenging his father’s death, forces Helm and his men to make a last, daring stand at the ancient fortress of Hornburg, a mighty stronghold that would later become known as Helm’s Deep. Helm’s daughter Hera, finding herself in an increasingly desperate situation, must muster the will to lead the resistance against a deadly enemy intent on destroying them completely.
