Line of Events
Jackal is a tough killer who earns his living by performing hits for the highest salary. He soon meets his match in the form of a tough British intelligence officer who tracks him down in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe. The novel “The Day of the Jackal” was set in 1963 and focused on the assassination attempt of then French President Charles de Gaulle.
very different expressions
Remake of The Day of the Jackal (1973). I think the series is worth watching, especially since Eddie Redmayne’s performance as the killer is simply outstanding. He embodies his role in an incredibly versatile way, in one scene he is a very natural and loving family man, in another scene he is completely calculating and ice cold, and you can completely believe his speech.
He also has unnecessary family scenes that completely distract from the actual plot
He also comes across very convincingly as someone who knows weapons, and even in action scenes he shows strength and dynamism and quick decision-making ability. On the other hand, the lead female role of secret agent Bianca is unfortunately a very flat female role that can only hit and I don’t think is subtle at all. He is very cruel to both his family and his sources and gets a lot more screen time than the Jackal, which unfortunately lowers the tension a lot more often.

I think his story is too broad and his role too unlikable for the series to be 100% good. But since Eddie’s acting is so excellent and the series has an incredibly high aesthetic quality with stunning cityscapes and landscapes and top-notch James Bond music, I think it’s worth a watch. season "Silo" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
