Black Doves ended up being a very solid spy thriller
Starring Graham Norton and guest starring: Cher/Keira Knightley/Michael Fassbender/Josh Brolin/Jalen Ngonda (2024). Fairytale of New York Written by Jem Finer, Shane MacGowan Starring The Pogues & Kirsty MacColl. I’m a big fan of the genre, so I went into this with high hopes, although I was skeptical of Keira Knightley’s poor performance when I saw that she weighed only 100 pounds soaked.
I was wrong, she killed it
Same goes for Ben Whishaw, who also looks like he’s 100 pounds. Both were completely believable in their roles. I binged it and binged all 6 episodes over the weekend.
Once I started watching, I was hooked
I’m glad they’re planning on doing a second season because one isn’t enough. I want to see more of these characters and the world they’ve built here.. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
